Deloris I. Thorndike Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, Deloris I. Thorndike (South Yarmouth, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Deloris farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Deloris is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband James Thorndike; her daughter Cynthia Lucidi; her son-in-law Paul Lucidi of Billerica, MA; her grandchildren, Amanda Lucidi of Billerica and Lux Lucidi of Berkley, MA.; and her siblings-in-law, Gerrie Barksdale of Leavenworth, KS, Don Hartman of Peyton, CO and Robert Thorndike (Arlene) of Shelburne Falls, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Valley Cemetery.
