He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Sylvia and William Sylvia. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Sylvia (Montanaro) of South Weymouth; his children, William S. Sylvia, Jr. (Kathy) of Hanson, Steven Sylvia (Lisa) of North Port, FL and Tina Sylvia (Phil Caruso) of Pembroke; and his siblings, Richard Sylvia of Taunton and Carol Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
