She was predeceased by: her daughter Shannon K. Smith; and her brothers, Francis Sullivan and Daniel J. Sullivan. She is survived by: her husband Richard Smith; her children, Deirdre A. Smith of Washington, D. C. and Patrick T. Smith of Burlington; her siblings, David Sullivan (Camellia) of Andover, James Sullivan and Jean French PhD of Red Hook, N. Y.; and her sister-in-law Mary Farrell of Madison.
