Palmieri of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in East Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 104, on August 26, 2024. He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Joanne Palmieri (Brazas); his parents, James Palmieri and Vincenza Palmieri (Matarazzo); and his siblings, Domenick, Henry Palmieri and Antonetta Hines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne Tighe of Northampton and Linda Chapman of Braintree; his grandchildren, Valerie Taylor (Alex) of Providence, RI, Andrea Sandrin (Sergio) of Boynton Beach, FL, Melanie Schuster (Colin) of Easton, Christopher Chapman (Stephanie) of Arlington, Elizabeth Boughan of Northampton and David Tighe of Northampton; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Sebastian, Luke, Matthew (Ryan James) of Emmett, RJ, Henry and Rosemary. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Range Bar & Grille (306 Whiting St, Hingham, MA 02043).
