He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Marion (Sweet); and his siblings, Alice, Ruth Wenger (Paul), John and Joan Connor (Ed).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kathleen of Weymouth, Maureen Herrmann (Ed) of Duxbury, Peg Mansfield (Ed Woods) of Quincy, Ed (Rose) of Greensboro and Bill (Terry Howard) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Matt Herrmann (Almina) of Potomac, Erica Herrmann of Bethesda, Greg Herrmann of Boston, Matt Harrington (Jenny) of Vidor, Chris Harrington of Elkridge, Nicole Pirnie of San Diego, CA and Beth Holland (John) of Woodstock, Georgia.; his great grandchildren, Chelsea, Joseph, Lily, Wes, Harper, Blake, Adam and Yasmin; and his cousin Joanne Harrington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
