She was predeceased by: her husband Leland H. Buskey, Jr.; her son Daniel S. Buskey; her stepdaughter Patricia E. Buskey; and her brothers, James and Richard Brems.

She is survived by: her significant other Chiweenie; her daughter Lynn A. Buskey of North Quincy; her stepchildren, Joanne Buskey of Hyannis and Leland H. Buskey, III of Vermont; her brother Frederick M. Brems (Deborah); her sister-in-law Dorothy Brems; and her goddaughters, Diane Korzeniowski, Emily Buskey and Christine Ruzzo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy's memory to the Quincy Animal Shelter.
