It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay P. Hammond of South Hamilton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Minerva C. Shreve and Carl W. Peters; her husband Frederick C. Hammond; and her sister Elaine Woodbury (Peters). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Hammond (Polly Clapp), Jennifer Hammond (Patricia MacDonald) and Bradford Hammond; and her grandchildren, Alexander Hammond, Katherine Hammond and Madeline Clapp.
