She was predeceased by: her parents, George Getchell and Elizabeth Getchell (Vance); her husband James J. Phelan; her son Matthew Phelan of Melbourne; and her sister Barbara White of Fort Meyers, FL..
She is survived by: her children, Janet Phelan Barsanti (Keith) of Hamilton, Sean Phelan (Wendy Cuniff) of Hamilton and Jessica Phelan Connors (Chris) of Beverly; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Jill, Joey Phelan, Michelle Waters, Courtney Gibbs, Brooke Ripp, Caitlin Francis, James, Kelly Phelan, Lillian and Coleman Connors; and her great grandchildren, Macie, Jayden Waters, Bodhi Phelan, Whitaker, Chapin Gibbs, Libby Ripp and Ada Francis.
