He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Rys and Lucy Rys (Zwirko). He is survived by: his sisters, Rosemary Farioli (Dennis) of Thompson, CT. and Patricia Deren of Belchertown; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Deren, Kristen Green, Dr. Matthew Deren and Teressa Sindelar; and his pets, Enzo and Sebastian. He is also survived by 9 grand nieces and nephews.
