He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph S. Marek, Sr. and Stella Marek (Skrobat); and his brother Richard W. Marek, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Marek (Fitzgerald); his children, Rudolph S. Marek III (Traci) of Palmer and Kellie L. Reed (William) of South Hadley; his grandsons, Rudolph S. Marek IV, Joseph E. Marek (Jamie), Jacob C. Marek, Alec W. Reed and Benjamin H. Reed; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Marek of Pennsylvania and Edward Fitzgerald (Elaine) of Virginia; and his nephews, Richard Marek, Jr. (Linda) of Pennsylvania and Brent Fitzgerald (Brittany) of Virginia. He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
