Philip J. Sheridan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip J. Sheridan of South Hadley, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Sheridan and Rose Sheridan (Dowd); his sisters, Ann Kervian and Claire Grimaldi; his aunts, Emma Ducharme and Evelina Labreque; and his grandson Colin James Cavanaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Cauley); his children, Mary Kate Cavanaugh (John), Michael (Robin), Daniel (Kim) and James Sheridan (Edyie); his grandchildren, Victoria (Magda), Neal Cavanaugh (Eleni), Kel, Kate (Pat), Sean (Emily), Brian, Connor, Logan and Nolan Sheridan; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Rowan Cavanaugh, Wendy (Dan), Violet, Luke Pryce, Paula (Jason), Jacob and Evan Gilmartin.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (30 Main St, South Hadley, MA 01075).
