He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardman Brooksbank and Janet Brooksbank (Kerr); and his former wife Dorothy Swanson. He is survived by: his brother Richard; his wife Barbara Brooksbank (Adams); and his goddaughters, Heather Riley, Susan Fitzgerald and Judy O'Day. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
