It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Broderick of South Hadley, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Kelliher and Eleanor Kelliher (Daley); her husband John T. Broderick Jr.; and her brothers, Thomas F. Kelliher and John F Kelliher, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, John T Broderick III (Robin Bassell) and Kelly Broderick (Jack Long); her brother William J. Kelliher; her grandchildren, TJ Broderick and Katie Broderick (Tyler Huller); her great grandchild Leo Huller; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Broderick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A procession was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Church (30 Main St, South Hadley, MA 01075).
