He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Nierer. He is survived by: his children, Alexandria Zabik-Maki (Shane Maki), James "Tory" Zabik (Ann Zabik) and Andrew Zabik; his grandchildren, Mia Maki, Everly Maki and Jasper Zabik; his brother John Zabik (Tammy); and his niece Jennifer Nierer.
