It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Desgres (South Hadley, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulderic Desgres and Marie Desgres (Lecuyer); his wife Arlene E. Desgres (Rodgers); and his daughter Judy A. Desgres-Cote. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Coleman of South Hadley; his daughter Penny M. Goodman; his son-in-law Norman Desmarais of Chicopee; his son Gary G. Desgres of Charlemont; his granddaughter April N. Belczyk (Cory); and his brother Richard Desgres (Rosemary) of Holyoke. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Moose Family Center, 244 Fuller Road, Chicopee, MA 01020.
