He was predeceased by: his parent Everett F.; his siblings, Ann Drost (John) and Robert Walsh (Dawn); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.
He is survived by: his parent Marguerite C. Walsh (Murphy); his wife Patricia J. "Pat" Walsh (Kennedy); his children, Sheila M. Orzechowski (Gene) of Chicopee and Jeffrey E. Walsh (Dianne) of Holyoke; his great grandchild Elliot "Ellie" Goonan; his sister Mary Sunter of Winchendon; and his brothers-in-law, James Kennedy (Mary Ellen), Timothy Kennedy (Ann), Edward Kennedy and Thomas Kennedy (Margaret).
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the Sisters of Saint Joseph, 577 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
