He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cathro and Edna D. Cathro; and his siblings, Martha Usher Poole and Thomas D. Cathro. He is survived by: his sister Doris J. Solt (Charles); his nieces and nephews, Lynn Usher, Arthur Usher (Nancy), David Usher (Michelle), Michael Usher (Cyndi), Christine Savage (Eric) and Katherine Solt; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica Hogan (Alan), Ashley Rebelo (Andrew), Brittany Young (Jeff), Jeffrey Usher, Emily Usher, Haley Gaudette, Isabella and Maya Usher; his brother-in-law David Poole; and also, Sterling, William J. Savage, Morgan Young, Dublin, Finnegan Hogan, Vivienne and Sawyer Rebelo.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the Memorial Fund at the Soldiers Home of Holyoke, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA.
