It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Murphy Jr. of South Hadley, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis F. Murphy and Antoinette Murphy (Gregoire); his daughter Mary Scanlon (Murphy); and his sister Mary Hogan (Murphy). He is survived by: his children, Dennis F. Murphy, III of Simsbury, CT, Marie A. Tanguay (Warren) of Westfield and Christine Murphy of South Hadley; his grandchildren, Alison Scanlon Torrone, Dennis F. Murphy, IIII, Warren, Ashley Tanguay and Jessica Allen; his great grandchildren, Mary, Jack Torrone and Everleigh Tanguay; and his brother-in-law Howard Greaney (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
