It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert George Fortier (South Hadley, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 13, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Alan Fortier; his siblings, George Fortier, Dolphus Fortier, Lillian Labonte, Evangeline Thompson, Alberta Neilon and Claire Gannis; and his pet Khandi.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Fortier (Cynthia) of Woodbine, GA, Maryann Sadowski of South Hadley, MA and Daniel Fortier (Denise) of Sandwich, MA; his sisters, Rita Fabricious, Irene Gemme and Rosianna Ford; his grandchildren, Melinda, Damon, Devin, Daniel and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Leilani and Rey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
