He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan G. Cahill (Whitford) and Paul F. Cahill; his grandparents, Albert Edward Whitford and Addie Carrie Whitford (Gregson); his father-in-law Joseph Berube; and his friend Christopher "Woody" Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cahill (Berube); his children, Danielle Cahill (Andrew Henrikson), Riley Johnson of West Townsend, MA and Shannon Cahill (Nathaniel Massari) of North Adams, MA; his mother-in-law Carol Berube; his siblings-in-law, Joe Berube and Debbie Strachan; and his kit-cats Jackpot. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, more friends.
