He was predeceased by: his father Donald F. Merchant. He is survived by: his mother Marion I. Merchant, Sr. (Montville); his wife Susan L. Merchant (Proctor); his children, Jaime Merchant of Westborough, Kristen Ferrante (Dennis) of Shrewsbury, Roger Godbout (Michelle) of Littleton, CO and Scott Godbout of Sutton; his grandchildren, Jacob, Rebecca Rogers, Ashlyn Gurtie, Gavin Godbout, Gianna and Daniel Ferrante; his great grandchild Winter Fleming; his siblings, Michelle Segur, Cheryl Mattison, Kevin Merchant, Peter Merchant, Mary Blanchard and Thomas Merchant; his former wife Cynthia Merchant; and his brother Brian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
