He was predeceased by: his siblings, Johnny, Joe, Barney, Albert Mero and Marie Smith (Mero).
He is survived by: his significant other Robert W. Cardoza; his niece Jacklyn Burke (Smith) of Connecticut; his cousins, Joseph Besardi, Charles Besardi, Luanne Greeley (Besardi), John Sutterlund and Edward Gardella; and his great-niece Shelly Haddad. He is also survived by Several other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451, and to the Worcester Animal Shelter, 139 Holden Street, Worcester 01606.
