He was predeceased by: his parents, Melville Garbitt and Eleanor Garbitt (Joy). He is survived by: his children, April, Michael (Beth), Ryan (Cate Kendall) and Devin (Julia Metjian); his siblings, Alan Swanson, Gary Garbitt (Kathy), Brian Garbitt, Lorraine Carlson and Melanie Rivard (Rick); and his grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Madelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
