He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Edward and Anne Collins (Brady); and his siblings, Terri Mini, Patricia Olander, Michael Collins and Kathleen Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Collins; his children, Chrissy Rhodes of Clintondale, NY, Stacey Wager (Ronny) of Wallkill, NY, Kim Nahas (Jon) of Chatham, MA, Eddie Collins (Ellen) of Blooming Grove, NY and Kenneth Collins of South Dennis, MA.; his grandchildren, Charlie, Chris, Megan and Sean; his stepgrandson Dylan; and his siblings, Marie Waite, Vincent Collins (Mary), Danny Collins (Maryanne) and Johnny Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Copeland-Hammerl Funeral Home (162 S Putt Corners Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (2212 State Route 44/55, Gardiner, NY 12525).
