He was predeceased by: his parent Mariam (Pitcher); and his wife Elizabeth Atwood Lawrence. He is survived by: his parent HerbertLawrence; his wife Elizabeth Duffy of South Dartmouth; his children, Priscilla Lawrence (Patrick Melampy) of Dunstable and Mark Lawrence (Stephanie Osbakken) of Austin, Texas; his stepson Stephen Johnson (Emily Cathcart) of London, England; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Melampy, Jane Melampy, Maya Lawrence and Bryn Lawrence.
