He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Furtado Silva Jr. and Alexandrina Nogueira Pimentel; his sister Maria; and also Zacarias Furtado. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Emanuel Furtado (Dorvalina) and Maria De Medeiros (Timothy De Medeiros); his granddaughters, Kristen, Victoria, Brianna and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Jose Furtado (Maria), Margarida Valério (Angelo) and Anjos Aguiar; and also Manuel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
