He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie (Hurney) and James Gannon of South Boston; and his siblings, James Gannon, Helen Thompson, Vincent Gannon, Joseph Gannon, Mary Gannon, Elizabeth Farrell, Alice Donahue, William Gannon, Anna Curran, Thomas Gannon, Virginia Repucci, Dorothy Reed and Kathleen Gannon.
He is survived by: his wife Norine Mulrey Gannon; his son Paul J. Gannon (Susan) of Hingham, MA.; and his granddaughters, Caroline Cole (Nicholas) of South Boston and Jacqueline Gannon of South Boston.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brigid's Church (841 E Broadway, Boston, MA 02127).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Paul's memory to either South Boston Catholic Academy or The Parishes of Gate of Heaven and Saint Brigid's Church.
