He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Doyle McNally; and his brother Peter McNally Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Caroline McNally (Britton Shuler) and Michael McNally Jr.; his wife Kathleen Phelan McNally of South Boston; his siblings, Siobhan McNally MD (Mark Liponis MD) of Lenox and Bryan McNally (Joanne) of Natick; his nieces and nephews, Tim Liponis (Catherine Shi), Brenna Liponis (Alex Glasgow), Matthew Liponis, James McNally (Bianca D'Antonio), Megan McNally, Katherine Lima and Brendan Labanara; his great-nieces, Avery, Rhea Liponis and Grace Glasgow; his adoptive parent Roisin; and also, Boysie, Boots, Aurora and Bella.
