She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William P. H. and Helen Bennett (Hooper); her granddaughter Karen; her husband John T. Carter; her children, John T. Carter (Arleen), Mark F. Carter (Carole) and Karen E. Carter (Stephen Johnson) of Walpole; her grandchildren, Matthew A. Carter of Groton, Michael C. Carter of Walpole and Lauren C. Carter of Groton; and her brother William Bennett.
