She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. McGowan and Virginia "Chickie" McGowan (O'Donnell) of South Boston; and her daughter Eileen E. Missett of South Boston. She is survived by: her husband Dennis J. Missett; her children, Dennis J. Missett Jr. of South Boston, Katie Donovan of South Boston and Elizabeth A. Browning (Missett) of South Boston; her grandchildren, Andrew of South Boston, Owen Missett of South Boston and Molly Ann Browning of South Boston; and her brothers, James A. McGowan (Marcia) of Westwood and Martin E. McGowan (Patricia) of Quincy. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casper's Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brigid Church (841 E Broadway, Boston, MA 02127).
