He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Matthews and Rita Matthews (Chartier). He is survived by: his wife Paula M. Matthews (Bouchard); his daughters, Michelle L. Izzard of Greenville and Marcia L. Durocher of Coventry; and his grandchildren, Kyle Pianka, Cori Pianka and Ryan Durocher.
