In loving memory of Rita M. DeQuattro of South Attleboro, Massachusetts, who departed this world on December 23, 2024 at the age of 96. Rita leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent J. DeQuattro; her parents, Wilfred Desormeaux and Olive Desormeaux (Audette); and her son Michael DeQuattro. She is survived by: her children, Diane Light (Bobby) of Nashville, TN, Janet Nelson of Timnath, CO, Stephen DeQuattro of West Warwick, Barbara Filipe of West Boylston, MA, James DeQuattro (Debbie) of South Attleboro, MA and Carol Silver (Brian) of Needham, MA; her brother Wilfred Desormeaux (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Shana Light, Mariah Light Mannion, Lauren Nelson, Sam Nelson, Matthew DeQuattro, Daniel Filipe, Andrew Filipe, Sarah Filipe Altmiller, Elizabeth Filipe, Aaron Filipe, Alyssa DeQuattro, Nicholas DeQuattro, Zachary Silver and Molly Silver. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church (18 Baltic St, Attleboro, MA 02703). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at 1502 West St, South Attleboro, MA 02703.
