Peter J. Williams Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter J. Williams of South Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Williams and Drusilla Williams; and his brother Michael Williams. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Blake (David) of North Attleboro, MA and Susan Whitlock; and his friends, John, Ruth Johnson of Attleboro, MA, Steven Fallon and Karen Bacardi Fallon of Brookline, MA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, dear colleagues and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name and memory may be made to the United Methodist Church, 20 Hoppin Hill Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

“I sang with Peter both in the Williams Chorale and with the Congregational Church in Mansfield for many years. He was a gifted musician and teacher who was able to make beautiful music with all of us, his instrument. His piano, organ and choral music entertained our concertgoers and glorified God. I learned so much from him and truly enjoyed his dry wit. I selfishly will miss him very much but am glad he is not in pain any longer. God bless Peter and all of his family.
