He was predeceased by: his parents, Chimanbhai Patel and Shantaben Patel. He is survived by: his wife Mamta Patel; his pet Lola; his children, Heley Patel (Amit Desai) of Sharon, MA and Prachi Patel (Raul Markos) of Miami, FL.; his grandchildren, Zara, Zayn and Luca; and his siblings, Vijay Patel, Malti Patel and Mrudula Desai. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
