We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Vincent J. Mattera of Somerville, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Vincent is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vincent's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosa Mattera (Sullivan) and Vincent Mattera; his wife Diane Mattera (Saraiva); his son Michael Mattera; his grandchildren, Christian, Bailey, Ambria Breen and Kiera Mattera; and his great grandchild Waylon Breen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144).
