He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carney and Doris L. Carney (Heselton); his stepchildren, Joseph and Nancy Wright; and his brothers, James and David Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wright; his stepson Jack Wright (Leslie) of Burlington; his grandchild Ashley Rodrigues; and his siblings, Donna Gay (late Philip) of South Weymouth, Thomas Carney of Albuquerque, NM, Timothy Carney of Malden and Debbie Giorgio (late Joel) of Cambridge. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
