He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hoffman and Helen Hoffman of Somerville; his son Brice Hoffman; and his brother John "Jack" Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Duane Hoffman (Lori), Matthew Hoffman (Deanna) and Philip Hoffman (Alicia); his grandchildren, Olivia, Grace, Miles, Logan, Coltrane and Nayanna; and his brother Thomas Hoffman.
The family has asked that donations be made to either the Hilltop Historical Society, Crossroads United Methodist Church or the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
