She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Viola (Fedele) and Antonio Viola; her spouse Benedetto Viola; her cousin Diane; and her siblings, Benedict and Frances Viola of Somerville.
She is survived by: her cousins, Ann and Bob; her aunt Lena; her children, Letitia Zani (Richard), Michael Viola (Mary) and Nancy Santilli (Ray); her grandsons, Christopher Zani (Amanda), Michael Zani (Liz), Jonathan Viola (Lindsay), Wesley Viola (Teal), David Santilli (Jill Schmidt) and Marc Santilli (Alexa); and her great grandchildren, Diana, Lexi, Chase, Samantha Zani, Parker, Sophia and Violet Santilli. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (262 Washington St, Somerville, MA 02143). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery (580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138).
