She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Sousa and Alfred Sousa; her husband Louis Gonda; and her daughter Karen Bettencourt. She is survived by: her son Kenneth L. Gonda (Patricia) of Windham, NH; her son-in-law Kenneth Bettencourt of Port St; her sister Eileen Bongiorno of Medford, MA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Gonda (Jason Cutter), Michael Gonda (Samantha Suarez) and Janeth Gonda (David Walters); her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Liam, Sean and Mariana; her nephews, Mark, Doug and Ronnie; and her niece Patty (Colleen).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
