She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gentile and Bernice Gentile (Girullo); her husband Anthony Vetrano; and her brother Samuel P. Gentile. She is survived by: her children, Karen Medeiros, Anthony Vetrano, Jr., Paul Vetrano, Michael Vetrano (Karen) and Mark Vetrano; her grandchildren, Tara Fiorenza (Adam), Bryan Medeiros, Brian Vetrano (Nicole), Andrew Vetrano, Matthew Vetrano, Nicholas Vetrano and Sarah Vetrano; and her great grandchildren, Londyn and Liam Vetrano.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marie's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
