It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Konstantinos Vasilakis of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Konstantinos leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Efstathia Vasilakis (Giamas); his children, Maria Vasilakis (Henry Gubnitsky) and John Vasilakis (Claudia); his grandchildren, Omeros Vasilakis, Thalia Vasilakis and Eric Gubnitsky; and his siblings, Nufoula Geramanakis (Manolis) of Crete and Marina Papadimas (George) of Athens, Greece.. He was also cherished by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Virgin Mary Greek Church (29 Central St, Somerville, MA 02143). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada Street, #201, Newton, MA 02460 or to the above named church.
