He was predeceased by: his mother Ann Callinan (Burn). He is survived by: his father Patrick Callinan (Patricia); his children, Erin Callinan (Jacob Dill) of Somerville, Erica Callinan of Saugus and Robin Callinan (Mercer); his significant other Yvonne Lesko; his sister Maureen Fodera (Frank); his brother-in-law Jeanmarie Callinan (Julie Callinan) of Somerville; his children, Rocky and Remi; and his grandchild Gronk. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joseph's name to a charity of one's choice.
