As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Tina Marie Spear; his brother Charles Spear; and also Marion Trimble (Spear). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Spear (Moe Souza); his sons, Joseph Spear Jr. of Somerville and Michael Spear of Somerville; his grandchildren, Kelsie, Savannah and Cameron Spear; and his sibling Gale Curran of Wilmington. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home - Arlington (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). A prayer was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
