He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen McInerny (Priddey) and John McInerny; his sister Doreen; and his daughter Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Wendy McInerny (Chip Seamans), John McInerny IV (Kathleen) and Steven McInerny (Maria McEachern); and his grandchildren, Wesley McInerny, Mattie Seamans and Malcolm Seamans.
