She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen J. Vangel (MacDonald) and James Vangel; her daughter Catherine Hughes (late Thomas); her granddaughter Emily Carreiro; her siblings, James and Francis Vangel; and her husband Charlie.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Cosgrove of Reading, Chuck Cosgrove (Nancy) of Hingham, Kelly Crowley (Kevin) of Londonderry, NH, Colleen Leach (Mark) of Londonderry, NH, Chrissy Kewley (Steven) of Londonderry, NH and Kerry Earley (Mark) of Stoughton; her friend Karen Rich (KB); her grandchildren, Colleen, Patrick, Kevin, Connor Hughes, Charlie, William, Erin Cunningham, Casey, Megan Cosgrove, Shannon, Ryan Crowley, Mark, Jr., Maryellen, Chad, Collin Leach, Michaela, Mackenzie Kewley, Billy and Caitlin; and her great grandchild Valerie Trahan.
