With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bradley McLean of Somerville, Massachusetts, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bradley left this world on October 1, 2024 at the age of 57, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his parent Pamella Blake McLean; his wife Miriam; his children, Nia and Miles; his parent Deckle McLean; his uncle Gordon; his aunt Gail Blake; and his siblings, Dr. Matthew McLean (Danielle) and Sarah Acosta. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“In loving memory of Bradley McLean, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Brad was a friend and colleague of mine from DSpace Foundation. We had many fun and adventurous times as we tried to wrangle a community of developers to go in the same direction! Brad always was well spoken, thoughtful and had a great very dry sense of humor. And was really fun to share a beer with, as he had great knowledge of all ales, near and far.”
