She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest F. Coates; her parents, Ernest Lavoie and Luciana Lavoie (Dupre); and her siblings, Bertha, Yvonne, Leonel, Lauretta, Norman, Jeannette, Cecile, Raymond, Roger and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Bradford Coates (Cynthia) of Somerset and Lois Brown of New Mexico; her grandchildren, Pamela Legg, Nicholas Coates, Chelsey and Rachel Brown; and her great grandchildren, Cadence, Oliver, Bennett and Lillian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
