She was predeceased by: her husband Walter C. Lapre; her parents, Arthur Gagnon and Florence Gagnon (Sylvia); and her siblings, Pearl Siems and Barbara Connors.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Britland of Hawaii, Patrick Britland of California and Judi Sterne (Robert) of Somerset; and her grandchildren, Bobbie Sterne, Heidi Johnston, Brittany Britland, Kelly Britland, Kekai Britland and Kaleo Frank. She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
