She was predeceased by: her father Manuel Grillo; and her siblings, Claudette Edwards, Dennis Grillo and Kenneth Grillo. She is survived by: her husband Gabriel "Gibby" Furtado; her mother Beatrice Grillo (Yokel); her children, Peter G. Furtado (Ann) of Mill Creek, WA and Elisabeth A. Furtado of New York City; her grandchildren, Nicholas Furtado and Grace Furtado; and her sisters, Eileen Desforges (Paul) of Worcester, Anne Marie Grillo of Fall River and Judy Grillo of Easton, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
