He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Arruda of Fall River, Kenneth, Dennis, David V. Arruda of Somerset and Donna M. Arruda (Gary Seybold) of Winter Garden, FL; his siblings, Irene Rigby of Fall River, Rita Arruda and Leo Arruda of Swansea; and his grandchildren, Mitchell and Allison Arruda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
